You’ve decided to throw a Casino party. Now what?

You’ve decided to throw a Casino-themed birthday party, fundraiser, gala, anniversary shindig, or a ‘just because’ soiree. Now it’s time to pick a venue. But where to start? There’s a myriad of lovely event venues all over Austin. All you need to do is define your budget and identify what part of town you want to host your event. Casino Knights, Inc. will take care of the rest! Keep reading for some ideas to get you started.

Hotels

Austin hotels are no stranger to hosting events. Hotels have the facilities, materials, and staff you need to pull off a party without a hitch. Typically, a party planner is on site to help as you map out your special event. They also tend to offer their own table cloths, table décor, and will supply a trusted caterer to provide a delicious meal or serve hors d'oeuvres. Hosting your event at a hotel takes a lot of the guesswork out of party planning.

Event Centers

Just like hotels, event centers typically have their own party planners on-site. Where hotels and event centers differ is ambiance and the freedom to make the event yours. Typically, you can bring in your own décor and add a special flair to coordinate with your party theme. Also, you are likely to be the only event at that location for the duration of your party, while at hotels, several events are usually going on at once. It all depends on your budget and what’s right for your event. Event centers will also include tables and chairs in your rental rate and do most of the setting up and taking down for you. Easy peasy!

City of Austin Parks & Recreation

This is a great option if you’re on a budget and don’t mind a little DIY. Head on over to the City of Austin Parks & Recreation website for a list of potential venues. With the use of a city facility or other event venues around town, you can really make your party your own. You can certainly bring in your own caterer, decorate to your heart’s content and make your party YOU, through and through. The only downside to this option is it requires a little more elbow grease. You’ll have to set up all on your own, and take care of take down and cleanup. But that’s not necessarily a bad price to pay for a great DIY Casino party!
